As the Brewery Packaging Technology Course Director, you'll provide the leadership, technical knowledge, and experience to help mold the next generation of brewing technicians. The Course Director is responsible for the overall management and execution of both the virtual and on-site components of the Packaging Technology Course. This role requires overseeing all content development, coordinating with speakers, and ensuring a seamless learning experience for participants. The goal of this course is to connect Master Brewers students with industry experts and peers in a manner that is engaging, respectful of diverse student needs and backgrounds, and meets the learning objectives.
The course director works with the program manager to organize and direct six weeks of virtual content and one week of in-person instruction, tours, and demonstrations. The virtual part of the course consists of pre-recorded lessons and assignments from subject matter experts, a discussion board on the Master Brewers Community site, and a weekly three-hour Zoom Q&A/ discussion session featuring the subject matter experts from that week.
